I note that Hereward has hidden from public view and locked a recent thread I started, at least I assume so - so Hereward, could you please correct me if I'm wrong on this assumption? I'm more than happy to be put right on this if I'm mistaken, and if I'm not wrong, an explanation would be appreciated.

Further, I recently posted something on communication, where I attempted to analyse the recent breakdown that has occurred - and looking for it this morning, I can't seem to see any trace of it? Have I got incipient Alzheimers, or am I just not looking in the right place? Again, some clarification would be appreciated.

That's very strange, I thought I wrote and posted a piece re the history of a certain recent breakdown in communications, starting from when I was accused of acting "Suspiciously" by circulating info (to my contacts), about the Sydney conference, and also publicly castigated here for the choice of one of my email addresses. Obviously some gremlins in the system have eaten it up . . . Which is a shame, because I didn't cast blame on any particular party, and conceded I could have done things differently and better too.

Further, I think the quote you've used is from one of my very first posts, when I was very surprised (and shocked), by the "Conspiracy Model" in relation to Global Warming that I came across here. I didn't post here for a while after that, but I then came across John on the Truth Action forum, and was persuaded by his warm and friendly manner to try again.

But what I've found (since taking that second decision), is that anyone posting here who does not share that particular view on Global Warming is considered fair game for personal insults and wild accusations.

Rubbish! This is utter bullshit and fraudulent. You are free to argue your case, but you are not free to IMPOSE POLICY.

Telling people their opinion is worthless becuase they are not PHDs in a given subject is a cowardly and pathetic way of making your argument, but if that's the best you can do go ahead. You will be flamed, but your posts won't be deleted.

Try to impose policy and tell me what my site should be named or restrict what is posted here and your posts will be deleted. This would happen on any forum.
