Guess I'm not obedient 
When my obstetrician commented on my very high rubella immunity he added that this was thanks to the vaccine. He was not happy when I informed him that I had never had the rubella shot because my mother wouldn't allow it. The fact that I had good natural immunity meant that I was able to pass it on to my kids - the vaccinated kind of 'immunity' (sic) isn't transferred in utero or through colostrum.
Merck's HPV (Help Pay for Vioxx) vaccine is an incredible moneyspinner and has done wonders for their share prices and profit forecasts - at the expense of our children and possible DNA damage to their children (presuming they can still have them)

This to me highlights one of the central problems with vaccinations. If everyone was so positive that they actually work, then surely the unvaccinated kids pose no threat whatsoever to those that have had the shots. |

Every time I use that argument it is met with the requirements for the "herd effect" an incredibly flawed concept which supposedly means that unless a certain percentage (often 95%) is vaccinated the vaccines won't work.
Go figure.. 
But it this dogma that is used to vilify parents who refuse to vaccinate - apparently our kids are a constant source of infection to make the vaccinated kids sick 
Just look at the new push for vaccinating adults in the US against whooping cough - to "cocoon" new infants from possible infection before they can be vaccinated themselves. Of course in countries where kids aren't vacc for whooping cough until 2 years of age there is very little incidence in infants, as vaccination hasn't disrupted the usual pattern of infection only occurring in those old enough to be able to handle it.

Oh dear, if they won't even investigate aspartame I don't like your chances on anything else
I first read about aspartame in a Hustler magazine back in the eighties (I really did buy it for the articles ) and how Reagan/Rumsfeld pushed it through despite the FDA scientists refusing to approve it. The accounts of how the rats had their tumours surgically removed so that they were "tumour-free" at the appointed end of their lifespans were scary enough, but how dead monkeys were resurrected to have good blood test results weeks after their deaths was a major worry. Surprising how many lives some monkeys have
Will check out the CDC stuff - am constantly on the lookout for good vaccine links for a friend who is fighting a legal battle to get her granddaughter's father out of gaol. Shaken Baby Syndrome is putting a lot of innocent people in prison, when it is the vaccine companies that should be sued.

Good to hear someone else raise this issue. I'd heard about it via Leonard Horowitz (mentioned in his Death In The Air DVD from memory), along with the vaccine links to 'Sudden Infant Death Syndrome' and Autism.
If the youtube clips are of interest then I recommend getting the full DVD. Dr Tenpenny also has another one available (you can get it at http://www.nmaseminars.com/AboutDrT.html or from amazon).
There's also a good doco available on Aspartame called 'Sweet Misery'. |
