it seems to get more attention on prisonplanet than on here, indicating that it probally doesnt even matter if this is an attack on truth as this site isnt going to make a large differance in people opinion of alex jones and truthers anyway.

i hope we can all focus on more important issues from now on.

Just to clear a few things up for people not aware on the whole gun rights issue: There is a believe among many that all American's have the right to bear arms so that they can protect themselves and their property from criminals or indeed possess a firearm so that they can go hunting. This is absolutely false.

The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

The right to bear and keep arms was written into the 2nd amendment, primarily to prevent the government from ever oppressing the people again. If the government had the knowledge that potentially every individual owned a firearm then it would be much more difficult to ever infringe on the people's rights again.
So just with the knowledge that every citizen had the right to own a gun (whether fired or not), by shear force of numbers (and a well regulated militia) citizens could always protect their constitutional rights. That is the main reason why so many have fought tooth and nail to try an take the guns off the American people, rather than for crime rates and school shootings, as horrific as they may be.
You may argue that it is ridiculous in this day and age with nuclear weapons and sidewinder missiles etc but the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act ensured that it was illegal to ever use military force or weapons against the people. (this was clearly violated in Waco when Ambram tanks were used to help aid in the killing of innocent men women and children even if it was under the guise of the FBI and BATF.)
So, it's not about hunting animals, shooting criminals, or protecting one's property (even though statistics can show that criminal activity is very low in towns where nearly everyone owns a firearm), it is about American's protecting their rights fought by the forefathers. The Constitution is based around the abolition of Royalty, in tern, making each citizen a King or Queen in their own right and ensures that the people rule, not the leaders. The gun rights issue is also about the hypocrisy of those in the government who are allowed to carry guns for their own protection, yet deny the rights of the people allowed under their own constitutional protection.
Alex Jones should and does know better and therefore it sounds like he is advocating the use of violence which surely is asking for trouble and falls into the hands of people who do not support the Constitution.

IMO Alex Jones is definitely a sensationalist and has been shown to get his facts twisted on numerous ocsassions so I prefer to stay away from his sites but I suppose that's another topic.

There is an important point i need to emphasise about this storm in a tea cup.

Notwithstanding mutual accusations of "fake", "cointel" etc, I have been making clear and reasoned arguments about this issue, and I did not lead by calling him a fake - this came later as a result of my frustration at the gatekeers who protect and defend him beyond all reason and sense.

These substantive arguments have not even been addressed by my detractors, except insofar as they have all now been deleted.

This to me reveals something very interesting and important about the people who run prison planet forums.

Clearly it reveals that there is no spirit of free speech there. It expresses a crude tribal mentality which appears bent on actually creating and exacerbating divisions within society.

In many ways it dovetails nicely with the rash behavior of Joe Horn and the equally rash and barbaric and really inhumane gloating over his actions by Alex Jones and his groupies.

I still don't know if PP is a deliberate psyop operation. The jury is out on that one. But when the jury comes in those who are found to be working to an insidious agenda will be called to account by all true Truthers.

The word "Truther" does have a real meaning. It is not just a label.

1: Alex Jones IS a redneck texan, whatever you think he does to spread truth (and i like him) He is a Christian redneck... Its not a problem for me, just accept it and move onwards

3: Guns as a defence to make things safer is a stupid argument that makes no sense in the real world at all and anyone who thinks more guns will make things safer has been sniffing the lighter fluid for a few hours too much
