Proposed "Truth HQ" community centre

Dear Group Co-ordinators/Contacts,

In light of the substantial cost to groups of venue hire for meetings, Zeitgeist
Movement Australia (Sydney Chapter) held a meeting last Monday with representatives
of some of other "truth-related" groups currently meeting in the inner city area. We
talked about the possibility of establishing a new inner city community centre to be
shared by a range of like-minded or related groups who have ultimately have similar
aims, eg, revealing government/corporate deception, sustainable future.

I have attached the minutes of the meeting, in which you can read about this
proposal in greater detail. It was agreed that the representatives of the above list
of groups would be contacted this week and invited to the next "Truth HQ Planning
Meeting" to be held:

At this meeting we will be discussing the idea to see which groups may be interested in
being involved in this project, and getting groups' ideas and needs. We hope you can
make it along.

Just getting all the groups together, is a great idea. Sharing costs is a great spin-off.

This is a cool idea. As always we must be wary of centralisation, and the issues which accompany it.

The very name "HQ" makes me feel uneasy in terms of centralisation and what it represents. The bigger and more all-encompassing an entity, the bigger a target it is and the harder it falls. I don't want to sound overly dramatic - just something to think about.

I can see the best in the idea and also the concerns.

- A legal entity, ideally a foundation, should be established to properly manage the affairs of the centre. Each group to be represented on the foundation board to make major decisions about the HQ at regular periods. Groups to be responsible for paying the rent, in a manner proportional to monthly usage, rather than individual group members, to reduce financial complexity.

- (1) Known truth-related non-profits: ZM, TMA, Lore & Suveranty, Quantum Language group, TNRA, We Are Change, 911oz, Truth Action Australia, LotusBanc. The members of these groups alone may be as many as several thousand, providing a large pool of financial support for the HQ.

My understanding at this time is that Lotusbanc is a scam, and that the perps are dangerous.

I have this from a good source, who cannot be named yet.

I am a little disappointed in our friends who have been talking it up, but as far as I know they victims of the scam too.

This will all be exposed on TNRA soon.
